DATA IDENTITY / WHAT'S HIDDEN IN THE BLACKBOX?
Are you aware what's happening with all your data you leave behind by just using your device?
During my studies I researched about the bizarre world of data collection. One of the conclusions is: unfortunately there are companies knowing more about you than you some cases know about yourself. In that case we are not really free what we watch and read online.  Especially for young people who are still developing their own personal interests and identity it's questionable.

"Collecting identifying data of persons under sixteen is forbidden by the European privacy law, because young people are still unable to make balanced choices, recognise their own concerns, and especially to protect themselves...It turns out to be empty promises. On the 72 children's websites and apps that are tested at least 179 several companies are following."

That's why I developed a concept for teenagers in high school. This concept implies: confronting posters in digital style, a little booklet (DATA ID) with info and tools to protect yourself a bit better and a physical popup exposition in the blackbox. It aims to make them aware of their online privacy and identity. It also aims to give them a feel of online responsibility.
